We started off in a flurry of excitment, today was the day, we all where finally going to see the baby and find out what it is.  I allowed my youngest daughter to take the day off school and my eldest daughter kept her son off so they could come with us.  I got up early that morning and had a bath, creamed my skin and smiled a lot, this was it the day we had all be waiting for, no more guessing we would be sure now what the baby was.  I looked in the mirror approvingly at my hair which i had done especially for this occasions, and could just feel exicted about this, my estranged partner was on his way and he was happy, he had called me a few times and we laughted and joked he asked me to bring some hand cream down to the car, obviously wanting to look his best, it was all happening.  The appointed was for 11 and we all got into his car and drove down all the time laughing and joking.
